Refund Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy sets out the conditions governing the right of withdrawal and refunds applicable to sales concluded on iuvedynamics.com by IUVE Dynamics (the “Company”), in accordance with the French Consumer Code.
1. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumers have a period of fourteen (14) days to exercise their right to withdraw from a distance contract, without having to give any reason. This period runs from the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by them, takes physical possession of the goods (i.e. from delivery).
2. Application to made-to-order products
Article L221-28(3) of the French Consumer Code excludes the right of withdrawal for goods “made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised”. The Company adopts a consumer-protective interpretation of this exception: the mere selection of predefined catalogue options (colour, power output, filter packs) does not, in itself, constitute personalisation sufficient to deprive the consumer of the right of withdrawal.
3. How to exercise the right
To exercise this right, the consumer must notify their decision unambiguously before the 14-day period expires, by email to support@iuvedynamics.com (the model withdrawal form may be used but is not mandatory).
4. Returning the products
- The goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying the decision to withdraw.
- The product must be returned complete, in its original packaging, and in a condition allowing it to be resold. The consumer may be held liable for any depreciation resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods (Article L221-23).
- Given the bulky nature of the equipment, the consumer is invited to contact customer service before making any return, so that collection can be arranged on the best possible terms.
5. Return costs
Unless otherwise stated, the direct cost of returning the products is borne by the consumer, who is informed of this beforehand in accordance with Article L221-21. Due to the weight and volume of the equipment (in particular items shipped by freight), these costs may be significant; an estimate is available on request at support@iuvedynamics.com.
6. Refund
The Company will refund all sums paid, including the initial standard delivery costs, no later than 14 days from the date on which it is informed of the decision to withdraw. The Company may defer the refund until the goods have been recovered, or until the consumer has provided proof of dispatch, whichever is earlier. The refund is made using the same means of payment as that used for the order (via Stripe), at no cost to the consumer.
7. Non-conforming or damaged products
In the event of a non-conforming or defective product, the consumer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity (Article L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (Article 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), independently of the right of withdrawal. Consumers are invited to contact support@iuvedynamics.com to invoke these guarantees.
